We introduced a new “banning” system to keep students from prematurely quitting the multiplayer games at the cost of other students' experience.
We have notice that some students quit the multiplayer games if they do not get in rounds with their friends, if they have an undesired game outcome (i.e. if they are losing), and for other reasons.
The result is that they are jumping in and out of the multiplayer games, which leads to less practice for them, and less people to play with for the students who don't quit.
When this occurs, the student receives a warning that the next time they will be banned from using the multiplayer games for 10 minutes. When it happens a 2nd time, they are actually banned for 10 minutes, and "banned" will show up on top of the multiplayer games.
At that time, the students can continue to use BlueStreak single player mode, and 10 minutes later they will be allowed to play multiplayer again.
Keep in mind that switching tabs during the multiplayer game will also be counted as "quitting".
